The Water is Wide

A traditional English folk song known as an oral folk song originating in 18th-century England and Scotland. A lyrical folk song that likens the deep, distant distance of love to an uncrossable wide river or sea. It has been remade to harmonize the unique resonance of the cello with the wooden percussion sound of the marimba.
